PERSONAL    :
Dan Trejo merupakan seorang aktor yang tampil dalam banyak film-film Hollywood seperti Heat, Con Air, Machete, dan Desperado. Meskipun lahir dan tumbuh di Los Angeles, California, Trejo merupakan seorang keturunan Meksiko. Ia merupakan sepupu kedua dari pembuat film Rober Rodriguez, namun keduanya tidak menyadari hal ini sampai mereka terlibat dalam pembuatan film Desperado.

Sepanjang tahun 1960 Trejo tidak memiliki rekam jejak yang cukup bagus. Ia keluar masuk penjara di California pada tahun 1960an. Menurutnya hukuman penjara terakhirnya adalah penjara selama lima tahun.

KARIR        :
Karir akting pria kelahiran 16 Mei 1944 ini dimulai pada tahun 1985. Saat itu secara tidak sengaja ia mendapatkan peran dalam film Runaway Train sebagai seorang petinju.

Trejo sering kali mendapatkan karakter yang hypermaskulin dalam berbagai film yang dibintanginya. Tidak hanya itu saja, ia juga sering mendaptkan peran penjahat serta anti-hero. Selain itu, pria yang menjadi pemain protagonis dalam film Machete tersebut juga tidak hanya berakting dalam film, namun juga sebagai pengisi suara pada video game serta tampil dalam beberapa video klip.
